Lauterbach Group has chosen the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press to expand its digital offering to brands, primarily to offer high-quality shrink sleeve capabilities for its clients in wine, beer and spirits production.

The HP Indigo 8000 provides more throughput than any other narrow-web digital press in the market, at a speed of up to 262 linear feet a minute. Lauterbach installed the press at its Sussex, Wisconsin site, making it the first HP Indigo 8000 service available in the Midwest.

“The HP Indigo 8000 and our OmniMark Management System for product marking give us the ability to offer our clients improved supply chain management, speed to market, and lower overall costs, while at the same time helping with product and brand development,” says Shane Lauterbach, President.

In particular, Lauterbach said, the HP solution was chosen for its ability to help the company deliver new ways for its clients to communicate to consumers.  “We do not want to only produce labels, but to offer product brand solutions to enable our clients to tell their story and show why they are different,” he said.
